Ebook {Epub PDF} A Rogue of Ones Own by Evie Dunmore

A Rogue of One's Own. A lady must have money and an army of her own if she is to win a revolution - but first, she must pit her wits against the wiles of an irresistible rogue .  · One of the glorious things about the book is the way that Dunmore shows women using their cleverness and their strength and their community to subvert society. The story is as much about Lucie’s inner life—her growth as a person, her challenges as a political activist, her trauma as a woman, and her hopefulness and desires, as it is about political machinations or falling in love.  · A Rogue of One’s Own by Evie Dunmore tells the story of the romance between suffragist, Lucie, and infamous rogue, Tristan Ballentine. When first starting this book, I was extremely bored. The first hundred-or-so pages does not focus on the romance between the leads and barely has them spending time www.doorway.ru: Penguin Publishing Group.

Worry not, none of this happens in Evie Dunmores brilliant new novel, A Rogue of One's Own. Rogue is the second book in her exciting A League of Extraordinary Women series, and the follow up to Bringing Down the Duke. Duke is a strong contender to be my favourite book of , but Rogue is close behind it! I was very impressed after reading Evie Dunmore's debut novel, 'Bringing Down the Duke,' last year. I was excited beyond words to read the second book in the series. In 'A Rogue of One's Own' we get to read Lucie and Tristan's story and it was magnificent.

A Rogue Of One's Own by Dunmore, Evie "A lady must have money and an army of her own if she is to win a revolution--but first, she must pit her wits against the wiles of an irresistible rogue bent on wrecking her plans and her heart. One of the glorious things about the book is the way that Dunmore shows women using their cleverness and their strength and their community to subvert society. The story is as much about Lucie’s inner life—her growth as a person, her challenges as a political activist, her trauma as a woman, and her hopefulness and desires, as it is about political machinations or falling in love. A Rogue of One’s Own is as extraordinary as the women who encompass Evie’s passionate and formidable league of suffragettes. A swoonworthy romance fueled by electric chemistry, compelling characters who leap off the page and into readers’ hearts, and a fascinating and richly detailed period in history make this another sensational read.
